Went 6-0 including two pins and three major decisions. In a dual against #21-Augustana (Ill.), won by major decision over Nate Demus (13-2). Then led Coe to a first-place finish at the North Central (Ill.) Invitational. Pinned Lawrence’s Joe Austin (4:16) and Rose Hulman’s Mark Tappendorf (2:45). Won by major decision over Milwaukee School of Engineering’s Joe Fields (13-0) and University of Chicago’s Phil Kruzel (15-1), and won by decision over Elmhurst’s Toby Boltz (6-1).
