Went 4-0 at the Lone Star Duals including a victory over a Division I wrestler and two victories over Division II wrestlers. After forfeit victory in a dual against Missouri Baptist, Hinschberger registered a 10-6 victory over Juan Mora of Division I Cal State Fullerton. He then posted a 7-3 victory over the sixth-ranked wrestler in Division II, Wade Bramlitt of Central Oklahoma. Final victory was an 8-6 decision over Matt True of Division II Nebraska Kearney.
