Blum, a junior guard, averaged 27.0 points and 4.5 assists as the Spartans posted a pair of victories last week. He scored 31 points, had six assists and pulled down two rebounds against Mount Mercy, then added 23 points on 9-of-16 shooting at Beloit. During the week, Blum shot 50 percent from the field, 47.1 percent from behind the 3-point line, and 87.5 from the charity stripe. (IIAC Male Athlete of the Week)
