Burberry, a junior midfielder, scored a goal in each of Loras’ three Iowa Conference Tournament games. His goal in the Championship match against top-seeded Wartburg proved to be the game winner as third-seeded Loras upset the Knights, 4-2, and earned their first trip to the NCAA Tournament in school history. Burberry scored the game-tying goal in the semifinals against #2 Central, 1:07 after the Dutch broke a scoreless tie in the final 10–minutes of the opening half.
